Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Soltar, a party card game for Amazon Fire TV (the "App"), provided by Boring Systems, operated by Denys Kyzym, an individual developer based in Ukraine ("Boring Systems", "we", "us"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

These Terms supplement, and do not replace, the Amazon Appstore Terms of Use and the applicable Amazon end-user license agreement, which also apply to your use of the App.

1. License

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App for your own non-commercial entertainment on devices you own or control. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, redistribute, rent, or resell the App or its content, except as permitted by applicable law.

2. Purchases

The App offers optional in-app purchases (premium decks, the Pre-Party extension, and the VIP Pass).

• All purchases are one-time entitlements. There are no subscriptions and no recurring charges.
• Purchases are processed and billed by the Amazon Appstore. Prices are shown in the store at the time of purchase and may vary by marketplace.
• You can restore previously purchased content on the same Amazon account; the App attempts this automatically at startup.
• Refunds are handled solely by Amazon under Amazon's policies. We do not process payments or issue refunds directly.

3. Age requirement and party-content disclaimer

Soltar is intended for adults. Some content (the Midnight Mix deck) is 18+ and is placed behind an age-confirmation screen; by confirming, you represent that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction).

The App is a social party game that may reference drinking and mature, humorous themes. Drink responsibly and only if you are of legal drinking age. Never drink and drive. You are solely responsible for your own conduct and choices while playing. Prompts in the App are for entertainment only and are not advice, encouragement, or instruction to do anything unsafe or unlawful.

4. Content "as is"

The cards, prompts, and other content are provided for entertainment purposes only. Themes and humor are intentionally light or provocative and do not reflect the views of Boring Systems. The App's content and features may change over time.

5. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Boring Systems will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising out of your use of (or inability to use) the App. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

7. Amazon Appstore

The App is distributed through the Amazon Appstore. Your use is also subject to Amazon's terms. Amazon is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the App, but may act as a beneficiary entitled to enforce store-level terms where applicable.

8. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at boringsystems.dev/privacy.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest version, posted at boringsystems.dev/terms. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in this section overrides mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you under the laws of your country of residence.
